Why these files cut cleanly

Cut before it is sold

Every file goes on a real machine and gets built by hand before it goes online. If it does not fit together, it does not go up.

Layers numbered on the back

Each part carries its layer number engraved on the reverse, so a stack of forty pieces never turns into a guessing game.

Alignment built in

Two 4 mm pin holes run through every wood layer. Glass patterns come with registration marks that survive printing.

Resized for free

Tell us the finished width you need and we redraw the file to match. No extra charge, usually back the same day.

What you get that a cheap file does not

Questions makers ask

What software do I need to open these?

LightBurn, xTool Creative Space, Glowforge and LaserGRBL all read the SVG straight off. The DXF is there for older machine software, and the AI and CDR files are for anyone who wants to edit the drawing.

My machine bed is smaller than the finished piece. Now what?

Every file also ships with each layer as its own file, so you can cut them one at a time on a small bed. Tell us your bed size and we will nest the parts to fit it.

Can I use wood that is not 3 mm?

Yes for the flat layered pieces — thicker wood just makes a deeper stack. For slot-together builds like the tealight shades the thickness is structural, so ask us and we will adjust the joints.

Do the glass patterns come sized for copper foil or lead came?

Both. Each pattern has two versions: a foil version with hairline cut lines, and a came version with the heart width already allowed for.

Can I sell what I make from these?

Personal use is covered by the free licence. Selling finished pieces needs the commercial licence, which is a few dollars on any file and included in every collection.

What if the file does not work on my machine?

Write to us with the file name and what happened. We fix the file and send it back. We do not reply with a link to a tutorial.
